NEWS RELEASE For immediate release Operation Red Nose Gatineau, December 7, 2007. - Loisir sport Outaouais reminds you that Operation Red Nose is back this weekend with Caisses Assurances Desjardins' Night on December 7 and Subway's and Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec's night on December 8. People who may not feel fit to drive, whether they had a drink or are too tired, can call Operation Red Nose's volunteers at 819-771-AUTO (819-771-2886) to get a ride home in their own vehicle. The service is available from 8:00 p.m. to 3:30 in the morning to people calling from the city of Gatineau, the MRC des Collines and the city of Ottawa, within the limits of Orleans and Bayshore, north of Hunt Club Road. Even though the service is free, most users make a donation to show their appreciation. Last year, almost $40,000 was collected. Thanks to these donations, each year, Loisir sport Outaouais can support young athletes and amateur sports clubs in our region.
